Beauty / Barry M Natural Glow Palette

I was browsing the Barry M stand for some new polishes when I spotted that barry m have now bought out some new eyeshadow and blush palettes. Way back when I was definetly a dazzle dust collector and it was nice to see them bringing some eyeshadows into the collection.
There were 3 palettes on the stand but im pretty sure there are 6 in total. I was drawn to the Natural glow palette as I love neutrals and it seemed to look very similar to the naked basics palette by urban decay. The palettes are currently £6.49 each in boots and for that you get 6 eye shadows, a blush and two sponge applicators.
The packaging is exactly what I would expect from a under £10 palette, cardboard no frills packaging with a mirror inside. Its very light weight and would be perfect to put in your makeup bag for on the go. The actual shadows themselves are pigmented enough they show on the lids but I did have to build up the colour to achieve what I wanted. They are very natural shadows, I personaly like my eyeshadow to be pigmented and look like im wearing shadow. This palette is perfect for very natural makeup and also would be a great stocking filler for a younger girl or someone who is just getting into makeup.
The blush is a very baby pink natural blush and on the cheeks looks like a nice highlighter with a hint of colour which I couldn't get my camera to pick up. Overall for the price I do like this palette and I do think my younger sister would appreciate some of these palettes from the range as she prefers a light natural makeup.

Its a...... & 20 weeks pregnancy update

Hello everyone!! Im currently 20 weeks and 4 days today which means im half way eee! Im definitely feeling like im pregnant now and the tiredness is starting to kick in. Yesterday we went for my 20 week scan and got to see our little baby on the screen, we also found out we are having a BOY!!! He looks healthy and everything is normal which is great.
He looks just like Lilly from the scan and also has long legs just like she does. Its amazing to know we are having a boy, I have always said I have never seen myself with a boy and it kinda scares me, im not a girly girl really but I do like pretty dresses and pink and I really don't know much about boys. I guess im going to have to get used to blue and grey, cars, lego oh and being peed on haha! However this is going to be our last baby, and it is perfect having a girl and a boy and this is going to be a whole new experience. I had my girls name set in stone (Sophia) but I haven't been able to find a boy name we both like, I have two in mind but Mike isn't a fan so Im going to have to work on that one!

How far along? 20 weeks + 4 days
Pregnancy symptoms: I haven't really had a lot of pregnancy symptoms this pregnancy, Im staring to get tired and lower back pain. Also the past few days I have had what I think is 'lighting crotch' which is really uncomfortable.
Stretch marks: Not yet, I didn't get any on my stomach with Lilly but I did get them on my legs and hips.
Sleep: Im sleeping ok this week, Lilly has a cold so is waking through the night and the lighting crotch is making it hard to sleep
Best moment this week: Finding out we are having a baby BOY!!
Worst moment of the week: Lilly getting a cold
Movement: I have been feeling lots of movement and little kicks, mainly at night when im lying down.
Food cravings: Cheese, white bread and walkers crisps!!
Anything making you queasy or sick? When mike cooks burgers...
Gender: BOY
Labour signs: No
Belly button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy
Looking forward to: Baking with Lilly this weekend :)

Foxy locks "Lovely Lashes"

My favourite hair extension brand since 2009 has been foxy locks. After coming across Imogens on Youtube and lusting after hair like hers I have always turned to foxy locks. If you follow Imogen on her Instagram or watch her videos you will know she always looks so flawless and recently she bought out some new Foxy lashes. I have started to wear false eyelashes on a regular basis, I just love the added glamour and I have quiet small eyes and I always feel eyelashes open up my eyes. After purchasing a new set of extensions (review coming soon) I really wanted to try Imogens lashes "lovely lashes" which seem to be her favourite.

Lovely lashes are a mix of long and short hairs on a clear band in clusters of 6. Although the long hairs are "long" they look so lovely on the eyes and I can get away with wearing them in the day when I want to add more glamour as they are really thick like some double lashes or fake looking. The lashes are on a clear band which I do really like as they seem to blend in to my natural lashes better than eyelashes with a black band. Another great thing about these lashes is that they are human hair, sometimes synthetic lashes can be shiny look terrible where as these are just like lash extensions

The eyelashes don't come with glue, and are priced at £4.00 a pair and you can purchase them from the website http://www.foxylocksextensions.com/  I will also add a picture to this post of them on my eyes soon but you can see how they look on imogens instagram @imogenfoxylocks

Im Pregnant!! Baby number 2

Hi everyone, Im so excited to finally write a post to tell everyone that we are expecting our second baby in March 2015! Im still extremely overwhelmed at the thought of becoming a mum again and this time I am a lot more scared and nervous than I was when I was pregnant with Lilly.

Im currently 19 weeks and on Thursday we will hopefully be finding out the gender and I cannot wait!! Im also doing pregnancy vlogs on my youtube channel HERE if you would like to follow along and from 20 weeks im going to be doing pregnancy blog posts too. I really wanted to document this pregnancy as much as I can, as with Lilly I barely even took any bump pictures and I regret it so much and I think it will be lovely to look back and see my pregnancy with baby number 2.

Revlon Matte Balm - Complex

I have recently got really into nude shade lipsticks and one of my favourite youtubers, Lisa from Lisalisad1 mentioned the Revlon Matte Balm in complex on one of her videos and I had to try it.

I adore the Revlon Balms especially the Matte Balms and my collection is quickly growing. 230 complex is a colour I have in the passed picked up and put back down, but after seein it on Lisa and a few other blogs I had to try it. 230 Complex is a orange/almond colour nude. its not the type of nude that washes you out and give that concealer lip look. The pigmentation is really good and although these are matte they do have a balm like consistency so they don't dry out the lips. Im also really into lip liners at the moment and when I buy a new lipstick I try to find a lip liner to match. I found one that matches perfectly on the natural collection stand called 'almond' and it is literally identical (left on swatch photo)
Revlon lip crayons are £7.99 each and you can purchase them HERE

Bourjois Bronzer & highlighter Duo

Hey guys! I recently finished my beloved Bourjois bronzer and it has to be my favourite bronzer I have tried to date. When I went into boots I noticed two new bronzers, the Bronzer and highlighter duo and the gold bronzer. The gold bronzer looked more light a gold highlighter or something to use when you have a tan and wasn't something I was looking for and even though summer is over I do like a all round glow and the Bronzer highlighter duo look appealing. The bronzer is the same as the other chocolate bronzer and still has the delicious smell. I love this bronzer because it doesn't make me look muddy or dirty and is pigmented but not so you look over bronzed.

The highlighter give a lovely flash of shimmer on the cheek bones. I like to use a highlighter but not one that's too dramatic as my makeup is usually heavy any way and this is a perfect natural looking highlighter and perfect for putting in your make up bag for traveling or on the go touch ups.

Have any of you tried the new products for Bourjois?
